Lost Communication With ECM/PCM

The vehicle network has lost communication with the engine control module.

Serial Communication Link Circuit

The ECM has detected a fault on the serial data communication link (typically the internal ECM communication bus) used to share data between internal ECM processors or with other modules.

High Speed CAN Communication Bus

A module on the vehicle's high-speed CAN communication bus has detected that bus communication is disrupted, preventing modules from exchanging data needed for normal vehicle operation.

Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster
